I heard from one of my friends that CrossWorkers is a company with friendly people and a good working environment, where you have daily contact with the client you work for. Since I also wanted to learn to communicate directly with a Scandinavian client, I applied for a job at CrossWorkers. It seemed like a very exciting job, and it’s no secret that the salary was good.

After only half a year, I can say that I am very pleased with my job. I feel like part of my Danish customer’s team, where we hold weekly scrum meetings and talk together daily. The tone is very casual, and my colleagues in Europe are both friendly and knowledgeable. It is a very professional and technically productive environment, where our team in Cairo is closely involved in the customer’s business. It is very important to me, because it gives me a great sense of loyalty and accountability for the work I do.

My appointment started with two magical weeks in Aarhus, where I saw how my European customer worked and communicated internally. Europeans have a different mindset, and from the outset I was aware that I should be very focused on quality and double-check my work, as it is not common in Europe to have a dedicated quality control team.

At CrossWorkers in Cairo, I enjoy sharing experiences across our customer teams, so we also get inspiration from other IT experts, and can further develop our work. It’s exciting to work for a Danish company like CrossWorkers, both because they organize entertaining activities in leisure time where our families can join in, and just because in general they are really good people.
